Rules and conditions for passengers

Authority and responsibility on board the bus:

The driver is directly responsible for operations during the service.
Drivers and inspection staff have the right to bar access to buses and request that users who break the rules and / or violate these regulations alight from the bus.

It is forbidden to speak to the driver during the journey, while the bus is in motion.

Getting on and off the Bus:

All travellers must board the bus only through the front door and alight only through the central door or the back door once the bus has stopped.

It is forbidden to board or alight from a bus in motion or between stops.

Transport fares:

All persons, including minors, must be in possession of a ticket in accordance with the provisions of the insurance.
Access to the buses is free for children under 4, provided they are accompanied by a paying adult.

The driver is only obligated to provide change for notes equivalent to five times the cost of a journey.

It is necessary to verify that the ticket is appropriate to the journey, and that passes and cards are introduced into the machine next to the driver for validation.

Travellers must keep their ticket with them for the entire journey.
People with reduced mobility are subject to the same fares as other travellers.

It is forbidden to transport animals, baggage over 10 kg (22 lbs) and baggage with dimensions exceeding 85x70x35 cm (33.46’x27.55’x13.78′).

Access to buses for pregnant women, the elderly, people with reduced mobility or strollers:

On dedicated seats, priority is given to people with reduced mobility, pushchairs or strollers, pregnant women, and the elderly.

Vandalism, damage or antisocial behaviour:

Vandalism, damage to the bus or antisocial behaviour of any kind will give rise to legal proceedings and possibly to a criminal conviction of its perpetrator.

Infractions committed by users:

In the event of fraudulent use, the ticket or card will be confiscated and the passenger subject to a formal complaint
It is forbidden to beg on board the buses.

Penalty:

Anyone travelling without a valid ticket will be fined 35 MAD.
Authorized personnel may request the assistance of police officers, and the offender may be charged an additional penalty due to the immobilization of the bus if the offender refuses to pay a fine.

Lost and found items:

Alsa Al Baida is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Restitution to owners of items found is subject to proof of their identity and their signature.

The operator reserves the right to destroy or have destroyed any abandoned object which he considers suspicious and which might compromise the safety of travellers.

Identification et publication

The Casabus mobile application was developed and produced by: Alsa, the bus operator in the territory of the “Al Baida” inter-municipal cooperation establishment.

Intellectual property

All the elements appearing on the CasaBus mobile application are protected by Moroccan legislation on copyright and trademark law.

All elements of the application, trademarks, logos, designs, graphics, graphic charters, icons, texts, applications, scripts, functionalities, as well as their selection or combination appearing on the mobile application, are the exclusive property of Alsa . Access to the application does not entail any transfer of the aforementioned rights.

The rights to use the application are only granted in digital form for the purpose of viewing the pages consulted, on a personal, non-transferable and non-exclusive basis. The user is prohibited from copying, reproducing, modifying, distributing, displaying or selling, by any process or form whatsoever, in whole or in part, any element of the application or relating to it, and for any other purpose, including for commercial purposes, without the prior written authorization of Alsa .

In the event of illegal or unauthorized use of the application, Alsa reserves the right to take any appropriate measure or action that it deems necessary.

Personal data

Alsa undertakes to protect the personal data of users in compliance with the regulations in force and in particular Law No. 09-08 relating to the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.

 In accordance with the said law, you have the right to access, rectify and oppose the processing of your personal data by using the email address: client.alsaalbaida@alsa.ma

The data collected on our mobile application is intended for:

  • Email: This is used as part of your complaint request to allow an Alsa agent to respond to you; or when applying for an Alsa student card . If you also decide to use the “New Registration” service, your email address will be used to enrich the database of Alsa users in order to provide them with useful information about our services.
  • GPS position: It is used, as part of the “Itinerary” service, to detect your current geographical position, and provide the optimal path between your position and the destination you have selected.
  • Camera: This is used as part of the claim functionality. The camera thus makes it possible to take a photo illustrating the complaint
  • Telephone: This is used as part of your claim request to allow an Alsa agent to respond to your request. If you also decide to apply for a student card, your phone will be part of the application file.

Data security

Pursuant to Articles 23 and following of Law No. 09-08 (promulgated by Dahir No. 1-09-15 of 22 Safar 1430), Alsa implements all the technical and organizational measures necessary to guarantee the security and confidentiality of personal data collected and processed, and in particular to prevent it from being distorted, damaged or communicated to unauthorized third parties, by ensuring a level of security appropriate to the risks associated with the processing and the nature of the data to be protected.

By using the CasaBus application you agree to respect the following conditions:

  • You authorize Alsa to use your personal data to process your requests
  • Alsa does not guarantee that the information made available to you is complete or exhaustive. This information may contain inaccuracies, errors or omissions that we invite you to report in order to help us improve our service.
