Alsa' history

1999

The launch of urban transport in the city of Marrakech.

2004

Two additional peri-urban lines have been added with the inclusion of the Chichaoua province into the peri-urban network.

2006

The concession for operating the first tourist bus in Morocco was awarded, featuring two tours in Marrakech: the Historical Tour and the Palmeraie Tour, enhancing and increasing the city's tourist appeal.

2010

The launch of urban transport in the city of Agadir

2012

ALSA AGADIR restructured certain routes, leading to the expansion of the peri-urban network, which now includes 37 lines, and extended its presence to the province of Chtouka Ait Baha.

2013

ALSA has secured the delegated management of urban transport in the Tanger region.

2015

The opening of the Transport Professionals Training Center for the certification of drivers approved by the Ministry of Transport.

2015

ALSA took over the operation of the transport service in the city of Khouribga.
The signing of the UN Women Morocco agreement for the protection of women on public transportation, as well as the inclusion of the provinces of El Kelaa des Sraghna and Rhamna into the peri-urban network of Marrakech, bringing the total number of lines to 42.

2016

ALSA Marrakech thus becomes the first city on the African continent to have a 100% electric BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) network, which consists of an integrated high-capacity transport system with dedicated lanes and interchange hubs.

2017

ALSA began operating the renewed contract for the tourist bus in Marrakech, featuring 100% electric double-decker buses.
